The Foundation has created
three strategic, powerful partnerships to
get the job done:
- Partnerships with the business community
for financial, political and networking
support
- Partnerships with existing service organizations
so that contributed funds go towards needed
programs
- Partnerships with individuals
who want to direct their donations to specific
projects
The
Minerva Foundation is an independent
non-profit society governed by a volunteer
board, representative of the cultural and
geographic diversity of British Columbia.
Initially, the Foundation will focus on
four priority areas: women’s economic
opportunity, safety, education, and leadership
development for girls and women. Through
grants to community groups, collaborative
projects with institutions and government,
and corporate partnerships, the Foundation
will ensure that the progress that BC women
have made so far continues.
