The Minerva Foundation recently celebrated the Combining Our Strength™ Initiative with a unique look back at what has made the Initiative so valuable and what great opportunities the future holds as the COS Initiative moves beyond its first 5 years.

The evening included moving testimonials from COS participants, and special remarks from those involved in making the COS initiative what it is today.

I first started volunteering in 2004 because I was intrigued by the Minerva Foundation’s mission to inspire and empower girls and women to reach their full potential in life. What I discovered was that when women connect with each other for a purpose, they have the power to make things happen and to change lives. Through my continued involvement, not only have I been able to make a positive difference for other women, my own life has been immeasurably enriched by the women and girls I’ve met through the Foundation.
