Education Awards
The Combining Our Strength™ Education Awards Program benefits Aboriginal women throughout BC facing barriers to education due to age, disability, difficult life circumstances and financial constraints. The goal is to create capacity within the Aboriginal women’s community of BC and effecting some systemic change with sustainable results for this community.
Through our Combining Our Strength™ initiative, $49,250 in awards will be presented to Aboriginal Women in 2010. The awards are reviewed and distributed at the institutions below. To enquire about the application process and eligibility, please contact the following institutions directly:
