MHWW Career Kick-Start

Minerva Helping Women Work™ (MHWW) is a unique career-mentoring program for women who want to enter the workforce.

The Career Kick-Startprogram is designed for women of all ages who know what they want to do for work. This celebrated program is perfect for anyone recently unemployed, underemployed or new grads and is open to women of all ages who are looking for meaningful work. Professional career counselors and industry mentors assist all participants.

The MHWW Program will help you:

  • Gain specific, realistic and valuable information and build your network
  • Work in a setting designed specifically for the way women like to work & learn
  • Learn from the stories and experiences of others

Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis for all MHWW programs.

Are you a potential MHWW protégée?

We encourage you to apply if you:

  • are over the age of 18
  • are not currently on EI
  • are able to attend the weekly sessions
  • have a post-secondary education – college diploma or university degree
  • have proficient English language skills

Do you have the time & ability to complete this program?

Do you have the time? Are you able to:

  • Attend group sessions from 9:30AM – 4:30PM on once a week for four consecutive weeks
  • Complete homework/preparations between the weekly sessions

Do you have the support and resources?

  • Do you want or need to find work?
  • Do you have the support of your family and friends as you prepare to go back to work?
  • Do you have child care systems in place or a team of support around you as you attend sessions and arrange meetings?

Participant Fee
$275.00 – this amount can be paid in a lump sum or in 2 monthly instalments
