Please note that all Minerva Foundation awards will be granted to female residents of British Columbia who have demonstrated financial need and academic proficiency and are enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution in BC (unless otherwise stated in the award description). Preference will be given to candidates who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Single mothers who are advancing their education.
- Mature women returning to the workforce after a long absence.
- Women in non-traditional fields of study.
- Immigrant and Aboriginal women and women with a disability.

Description: This award will be presented toa candidate who meets at least one of the above eligibility requirements. Undergraduate students must be registered in a minimum of nine semester hours of normal graded courses. Graduate students must be registered in an approved full-time program. The award will be granted in two installments. To be eligible for the second installment, the recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00.
