Congratulations to BC Hydro on being recognized as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers in 2010! Some of the reasons that distinguished BC Hydro in this nomination are the diversity awareness components added to all core leadership training programs and their recruitment strategies to increase the number of employees from equity groups. The Minerva Foundation for BC Women is honoured to be partned with BC Hydro, and we greatly appreciate the support and commitment from all their wonderful team over the last four years!

It was only after Minerva’s process helped me understand my “transferable skills” (from Brazil) that I was able to focus my search for the right opportunity. I am happy to report that I have had success! Early this year, I received an appointment to the provincial Employment Assistance Appeal Tribunal. Now I can use the fundamental skills and concepts from my previous professional life in a brand new one. To say the least, I am grateful for Minerva’s guidance.
